Junior Trading Support Engineer

About the role

Monitor the health of UK and US trading applications, ensure data capture services are running, diagnose issues, and support traders using high-performance trading systems. Make small application enhancements, assist with release and strategy testing, and work with traders, quantitative analysts, and engineers to maintain and improve the systems. A STEM degree, a demonstrable interest in technology, a good understanding of Linux, and Python or another programming language are required. The role also calls for strong analytical and teamwork skills, the ability to identify root causes, and the ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
