About the role

Develop and execute data-driven electricity trading strategies across spot, intraday, balancing energy, and forward markets, while optimizing battery storage within technical, contractual, and risk limits. Build and improve Python-based trading and analysis tools, monitor performance and risks, and bring tested, approved improvements into production. Candidates need at least three years of relevant electricity trading experience, including battery storage optimization and balancing energy markets, plus practical skills in Python, statistical analysis, and backtesting. A degree in a quantitative, computer science, economics, or business field—or equivalent experience—is expected, along with Volue experience, EPEX trader authorization, and knowledge of forward trading, hedging, and position management.
