About the role

Execute electricity and gas hedging for public sector customers within formal risk parameters, and oversee forecasting, validations, analysis, reporting, and price-setting support. Provide expert market guidance to stakeholders and the wider energy team, including on corporate power purchase agreements, direct wire offerings, and flexibility. Candidates need proven experience executing gas and electricity hedging within formal risk parameters, using fundamental and technical analysis to inform trading decisions. They must also demonstrate strong communication, advanced Excel and quantitative skills, experience interpreting complex datasets, and knowledge or experience of specialist energy structures such as corporate PPAs, direct wire, or flexibility.
