About the role

Monitor and operate battery trading algorithms across day-ahead, Nordic ancillary capacity, and intraday markets, validating bids and results and intervening when market conditions or operational issues require it. Track performance, support strategy backtesting and development, and coordinate live trading with asset management, algorithm, quant, engineering, and market counterparties. The role seeks experience in European physical power markets, knowledge of wholesale and Nordic ancillary markets, BESS revenue streams, and relevant regulatory, settlement, imbalance, and BRP processes. Candidates should be comfortable with automated trading, make careful real-time decisions, and hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent practical experience; Python is a strong plus.
